For those who know her, it’s no surprise that Claire Redinger became a Hallmark writer. Already an avid reader as a kid, she could be found dreaming up characters and writing her own books in grade school. Later in high school, she edited dozens of English papers for her peers in exchange for coffee.
She studied journalism at University of Nebraska at Omaha and joined Hallmark three years ago where, among other projects, she especially loves the joy of putting together the annual Hallmark Dream Book.
Outside of work, she enjoys her plants, live music, watching The Chiefs on Sundays, and spending time with the best housemate ever: her mini goldendoodle, Daisy. As a fan of romantic-comedy movies, Claire says telling people she writes for Hallmark “never gets old!”
