Storytelling has always been close to heart for Senior Writer Kevin Dilmore. In fact, his most vivid childhood Christmas memories are of playing on, not around, the family’s tree acting out situations he’d created for the plastic cowboys and dinosaurs he’d hidden among the boughs.
Kevin earned bachelor’s degrees in journalism and film studies from University of Kansas. The highlight of his college career was studying fiction writing under Grand Master science-fiction writer and scholar James E. Gunn.
In his 19 years with Hallmark, Kevin has written for the Content and Marketing Studio, the annual Dream Book catalogs, and the Writing Studio. He has worked on Keepsake Ornaments for over a decade now and currently provides support on their editorial team.
Outside of Hallmark, Kevin writes fiction and journalism pieces. He is happily in his grandpa era and loves visiting and experiencing Christmas with his daughter, Colleen, son-in-law, Guillermo, and their two boys Lorenzo and Oliver.
