What Is the Hallmark Christmas Experience?
Get ready for a new Christmas tradition! Join us at Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri right outside of Hallmark’s headquarters, for the first-ever Hallmark Christmas Experience—a free, open-to-the-public, immersive experience with all the charm of a Hallmark movie town square. There is so much to explore, including a Christmas market, tree lightings, a card- sending station, and light walk.

Elevate your experience with special ticketed events and activities. There are so many festive options to choose from—exclusive events with your favorite Hallmark stars, workshops with Hallmark artists, breakfast with Santa, and so much more. Tickets are limited.

The magic happens every weekend beginning November 29th and lasts through December 23rd. Gather your loved ones and get into the spirit of the season with us!

What are the schedule and hours for the event?
The Hallmark Christmas Experience starts on November 29th and lasts through December 23rd. The Square will be open each weekend, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-10pm, Sundays from 10am-6pm, and Monday, December 23rd from 10am-10pm. Check back closer to the event for more details.

Are there any age requirements to attend Hallmark Christmas Experience?
Hallmark Christmas Experience is an all-ages event that you can enjoy with the whole family.

Are there any age requirements to attend ticketed events?
Children under the age of two can attend ticketed events for free, but they must be accompanied by an adult who has purchased a ticket and must sit on the lap of the adult they are attending the event with.
There will be a child ticket option for the Breakfast with Santa. Children must be between the ages of 2 and 12 years old to qualify. Children’s Create and Learn workshops are designed for ages 5-12. A guardian over 18 years old must accompany their child through the duration of the Create and Learn workshop. Please be sure to bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate or proof of age to the event for verification.

Is there a cost to attend Hallmark Christmas Experience?
The Hallmark Christmas Experience is a free, open-to-the-public event. Special ticketed events and activities are available for purchase while supplies last. Learn more about the free activities on the Square and how to purchase tickets.

What is the bag policy?

Are photography and video allowed?
Yes! Celebrate the season, and don’t forget to tag @HallmarkXmasKC on X and @hallmarkchristmasKC on Instagram with #HallmarkChristmasKC. While we encourage you to take as many photos as you like on personal devices, please note that professional cameras and recording equipment won’t be allowed in select ticketed events.

Can I bring my pet?
As any Hallmark Channel fan knows, we think pets are a big part of the family. But the Hallmark Christmas Experience is designed for their human best friends. Service animals allowed, but please, no pets.

What is the difference between the Be Merry and Find Magic packages?

How many packages am I allowed to purchase?
Each person is allowed to purchase up to 4 packages per weekend.

How will I receive any non-ticket package inclusions?
We will be sending out instructions for how/where to pick up your package inclusions closer to the event. Keep an eye out on your emails.

How do I get my ticket?
You can purchase a ticket on our official event ticketing page. After purchasing, you will then receive a confirmation email outlining what you purchased. Your digital ticket will then become available in your Eventbrite account.

Eventbrite is the official ticketing platform for Hallmark Christmas Experience. All tickets must be purchased through Eventbrite to ensure their validity.

I’ve purchased my tickets but can’t print them – what should I do?
If you purchased a ticket package, you’re all set! All you need at this time is your order confirmation. You will receive official tickets for each reserved experience that is a part of the package you purchased at a later date. These tickets will be sent via email and available in your Eventbrite account. You can elect to print them out or utilize your mobile device to scan for entry.

Is there an age limit to attend Hallmark Christmas Experience?
Hallmark Christmas Experience is an all-ages event that you can enjoy with the whole family! Bring your friends, neighbors, coworkers, everybody!

Do children under a certain age get into the ticketed events for free?
Yes, children under the age of two can attend ticketed events for free but they must be accompanied by an adult who has purchased a ticket. Also, those children must sit on the lap of the adult they are attending the event with. Children 2 and over must have their own ticket.

What are the age limits for the child tickets?
Children must be between the ages of 2 and 12 years old to qualify for the child ticket options. Please be sure to bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate or proof of age to the event for verification. Children’s Create and Learn workshops are designed for ages 5-12. What is your ticketing policy?
All sales are FINAL – tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-EXCHANGEABLE. If you purchased from an unauthorized source and/or the ticket is counterfeit, you will not be allowed entry. Subsequent and/or multiple presentations of counterfeited tickets are VOID and will be seized by event security staff. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS TICKET POLICY.

Will there be tickets available for sale at the event?
Tickets will be available online starting Thursday,
May 16 at 10 am CT. If there are tickets still available day-of, they will be available for purchase at the box office onsite.

Will tickets to individual events be available?
Yes, a limited quantity of individual tickets, ranging from $5 to $99, will be available Summer 2024. Please check back for more information.

No, all ticket sales and time selections are FINAL – tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-EXCHANGEABLE.

How do I transfer my ticket?

Can I buy tickets from a third-party company (Craigslist, Ticketmaster, etc.)?
We strongly urge you not to buy tickets from a third party! There’s a chance that any ticket you get from a third party is not legitimate. We can only guarantee ticket validity for purchases made through our official vendor via the ticket page of our website.

I bought tickets from a friend/scalper/third party.
How can I verify this ticket is legitimate?
If you have purchased a ticket for a friend or family member, please make sure to transfer the ticket to their name. Alternatively, you can give them a copy of the original purchaser’s government issued photo ID,
a copy of the order confirmation, and written consent that they can use the ticket.

Please note that tickets are non-refundable. There’s a chance that any ticket you get from a third party is not legitimate. We can only guarantee ticket validity for purchases made through our official vendor via the ticket page of our website.

What is the programming schedule for the event?

What activities are available on the Square?
Festive activities on the square include a Christmas market, Holiday Hallmarket which includes Hallmark artist booths and Hallmark merchandise, Festive Food Hall, tree lighting & light shows on the one-hundred-foot Mayor’s Christmas Tree, a light walk, ice-skating on the Crown Center Ice Terrace, card-sending and gift wrap stations, a Crayola community mural, and festive photo ops.

What activities are there for children?
The Hallmark Christmas Experience is for all ages and there are many activities on the Square that you can enjoy with the whole family. However, we have a few ticketed activities for children: Breakfast with Santa and Children’s Create and Learn workshops (tickets for ages 5-12 years old). Single event tickets will be available for purchase Summer 2024.

Is there an official Hallmark Christmas Experience hotel?

What if my desired room type is sold out?
All rooms at the official hotel, The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, will provide you with an amazing experience close to all of the activities at the Hallmark Christmas Experience. You can check back on the Westin site to see if additional room types become available.

What is the Hallmark Christmas Bed & Breakfast?
The Hallmark Christmas Bed & Breakfast is only available to purchasers of the Find Magic ticket package. Find Magic Package purchasers can book an exclusive holiday-themed room within The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, the official hotel of the Hallmark Christmas Experience. Guests will enjoy a welcome basket of Hallmark gifts, in-room hot cocoa, and spectacular views of the Hallmark Christmas Experience. Find out more about the Find Magic Package here. Hallmark Christmas Bed & Breakfast rooms are extremely limited, so don’t wait!

How can I book a room at the Hallmark Christmas Bed & Breakfast?
Hallmark Christmas Bed & Breakfast rooms are only available to Find Magic Package purchasers on a limited basis while supplies last; limit one room per customer. Booking instructions are included in the confirmation email when you purchase the Find Magic Package. If Hallmark Christmas Bed & Breakfast rooms are sold out or you do not purchase a Find Magic Package, additional rooms are available at The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, the official hotel of the Hallmark Christmas Experience.

Venue

Is there parking available at Hallmark Christmas Experience?
Yes, parking is available at Crown Center and in the surrounding areas. Parking fees are not included with your ticket and are paid directly at the parking garage. For more information, including parking garage prices and locations, visit the Crown Center website.

Will Wi-Fi be available at Hallmark Christmas Experience?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in the Crown Center Shops Atrium and on the Crown Center Square. Please check back closer to the event date for more details.

Will there be food?
Yes, food and beverage will be available for purchase at the Festive Food Hall.

Are events indoors or outdoors?
All activities on the Square are outdoors. Ticketed activities, including Experience Hallmark Channel events, Photo Ops, Breakfast with Santa, Hallmark Christmas Experience Signature Dinner, Hallmark Christmas Experience Signature Brunch, Hallmark Christmas Chalet: A Pop-Up Bar, and Home Sweet Hallmark Movie-Thon are all held indoors.

What happens if there’s bad weather?
The Hallmark Christmas Experience is a rain or shine event as long as weather conditions allow for the safety of all guests and performers. Please check back closer to the event date for more details.

Food & Beverage

Will there be vegetarian/vegan options available?
Yes, vegetarian and vegan options will be available for purchase.

Can I bring outside food or beverage?
No outside food and beverages are allowed. Food and beverages are available for purchase at the Festive Food Hall on the Square.

Will there be alcohol?
Yes, alcohol will be available for purchase with proof of age by valid federal or state photo I.D.

What are the hours of the Festive Food Hall?
The Festive Food Hall will be open each weekend between November 29th and December 23rd, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-10pm, Sundays from 10am-6pm, and Monday, December 23rd from 10am-10pm.

Are any meals included in the ticket packages?
Be Merry and Find Magic Package purchasers will receive a Festive Food Hall voucher for their choice of food and beverage. Find Magic Package purchasers will receive access to the Hallmark Christmas Chalet: A Pop-Up Bar on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1-5pm; one complimentary glass of wine is included. Additional drinks and small bites will be available for purchase.

Health & Safety

What is the Hallmark Christmas Experience’s Health & Safety Policy?
All attendees agree to follow event policies and posted instructions while at the event. Attendees may be subject to screening prior to entry. In case of emergency, information may be related to attendees via public address systems.

Once I enter the Christmas Experience, can I leave and return?
Yes, reentry will be allowed. Attendees may be subject to a screening check point each time you enter.

Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend?
To purchase a ticket, attendees are not required to be fully vaccinated. In alignment with current federal & state requirements, proof of vaccination is not required to attend. Health and safety rules and requirements are subject to change at any time at Hallmark’s sole discretion and/or in accordance with CDC guidelines, event venue policies, and the requirements or recommendations of federal, state, and/or local health officials.

Will I need to wear a mask or face covering?
In alignment with current federal & state requirements, masks or face coverings are not required for those attending the event. Health and safety rules and requirements are subject to change at any time at Hallmark’s sole discretion and/or in accordance with CDC guidelines, event venue policies, and the requirements or recommendations of federal, state, and/or local health officials.

I was potentially exposed to COVID-19, can I still come to Hallmark Christmas Experience?
For the health and safety of others we recommend staying home should you feel unwell. Please refer to current CDC guidelines if you feel you have been exposed to COVID-19.

Is Hallmark Christmas Experience accessible?
