Marcus Rosner was born on the west coast of British Columbia but throughout his younger years, he lived just outside of Edmonton in the quaint and suburban prairie town of Sherwood Park, Alberta. Rosner spent his youth playing every sport imaginable and never once took a drama class. After graduating high school, Rosner was at a loss for what to do with his life, but a significant trip to New York City with his mother, during which they saw several Broadway shows, sparked the first flame for a career as an actor. He made the move to Vancouver where he attended Vancouver Film School and began working in film and television and has since had an enviable career with numerous notable roles.
Rosner has appeared on Syfy’s Continuum, The CW’s Arrow and Supernatural, and ABC’s Mistresses, along with recurring roles on ABC’s Once Upon a Time, Hallmark Channel’s When Calls the Heart, Bravo’s Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce and Lifetime’s critically acclaimed series UnREAL. In the Buzzfeed Studios/Lionsgate co-production My Fake Boyfriend, Rosner played the critically acclaimed supporting role of Nico alongside Keiynon Lonsdale, Sarah Hyland and Dylan Sprouse. On top of this list of credits Rosner is a mainstay leading man on Hallmark Channel and was most recently seen in Notes of Autumn and Romance to the Rescue.
When Rosner isn’t acting he spends much of his time running his production company Northern Gateway Films with partners Dylan Pearce and Andrew Scholotiuk in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta.
