Kimberley Sustad

A charismatic beauty, Kimberley Sustad is known for her engaging presence as a performer both on stage and screen.  Sustad grew up on the prairies of Canada and enjoyed a childhood full of horseback riding and outdoor adventures.  Her first taste of acting came at the age of 18, when her local theater put on Henrick Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler.  Cast in the titular lead role, this experience proved to be catalyst for her, helping to define her identity and future as a performer.

Soon after, Sustad moved to Seattle where she pursued more theater opportunities and appeared in productions by major regional companies Seattle Repertory Theatre and Arts Club Theatre (ACT).  Her ongoing studies, workshops and theater experience soon led to her next endeavors, film and television, prompting her to move from Washington to Vancouver.

Since then, Sustad’s career has continued to grow.  She has appeared in a number of hit series including Syfy’s Continuum, ABC’s Motive, The CW’s Supernatural, Fox’s Alcatraz, Syfy’s Primeval: A New World and Hallmark Channel’s Chesapeake Shores.  She can be seen in season three of the Netflix original series Travelers, in which she plays the arcing guest role, Joanne Yates, and the CBC miniseries drama Unspeakable, about the tainted blood scandal that rocked Canada in the ’80s.  Most recently she guest starred on Jordan Peele’s new iteration of The Twilight Zone for CBS.  Her work for Hallmark includes numerous Hallmark Channel original movies, including Christmas by Starlight, Wedding Every Weekend, The Nine Lives of Christmas and its 2021 sequel, The Nine Kittens of Christmas, as well as a guest stint on network’s hit series Chesapeake Shores.  Sustad previously starred in A Godwink Christmas and Sense, Sensibility & Snowmen, North to Home and most recently for the network, To All a Good Night

When Sustad is not acting, she enjoys staying in shape through kickboxing, boxing or outdoor activities such as rock climbing or snowboarding.  She currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.
